1. Start with a piece of paper. You can use any type of paper, but a standard 8.5 x 11 inch sheet works best.

2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise, then unfold it.

3. Fold the top corners of the paper down to the center fold, creating a triangle shape at the top.

4. Fold the top edge of the paper down to meet the bottom edge, creating a smaller triangle shape.

5. Fold the paper in half along the center fold, with the triangle shape on the outside.

6. Fold the wings down at a slight angle, about 1/3 of the way from the top of the paper.

7. Your paper airplane is now ready to fly! Experiment with different folds and designs to see how they affect the flight pattern.
